Saturday Evening Performance — December 12, 2026
The Nutcracker, Remixed! • Show 5 • Montrose Pavilion
Performance begins at 6:00 p.m.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening with your family! Here’s how to check your dancer’s assignments, arrive prepared, and plan for pickup.
Does My Dancer Perform Saturday Evening?
Saturday evening is Show 5. Check the performance PDF below for your dancer’s classes and featured roles.
The main Show 5 dress rehearsal takes place on Tuesday, December 8. The four Angels listed below have their rehearsal on Saturday instead.
Check every class and role your dancer is in. Some dancers perform in more than one show and may have additional rehearsal assignments.
The performance PDF lists dancers, classes, featured roles, dances in performance order, and act assignments. Find all of your dancer’s assignments and follow their earliest required call time.

Arriving for the Angels Rehearsal
- Use the front door and check in as you enter the hall.
- Arrive in the assigned costume, covered by a labeled robe, with show hair completed.
- One parent or guardian per family may escort their dancer to the conference room, help organize belongings, and then watch rehearsal from the rear of the theater.
- Makeup is not required for rehearsal. It is required for the performance.
Plan to stay at the Pavilion between rehearsal and the evening show. Keep a robe over the costume while waiting, eating, or completing makeup.
Evening Performance Arrival Times
Act 1 is the first half of the show. Act 2 is the second half, after intermission. The performance PDF shows which act each dance is in.
Act 1 Performers
Arrive: 5:30–5:45 p.m.
Follow an earlier call if one has been assigned.
Check in and join your group, with costume, show hair, and stage makeup ready for the 6:00 p.m. performance.
Act 2 Performers
Be backstage by 7:00 p.m.
Allow time to enter, check in, and reach your group.
Act 2 aerial performers must be backstage at the start of intermission. Do not wait until 7:00 p.m. if intermission starts earlier.
The four Angels follow their earlier 4:45 p.m. rehearsal arrival.
Performing in both acts? Follow the earlier Act 1 arrival time, or any separately assigned earlier call.
For dancers without a rehearsal or another early assignment, supervision begins at 5:00 p.m. Before then, students should remain with a parent or guardian unless checked in for an assigned rehearsal.
What to Wear & Bring
Arrive for the performance with show hair and stage makeup completed, your first assigned costume covered by a labeled robe, and everything needed for your other dances.
Our main family guide has the packing checklist, costume care, tights, hair, makeup, tickets, and more.
- No jewelry. Stud earrings are okay.
- Remove nail polish before arriving, and leave nail polish at home.
- Keep makeup out of young children’s reach. An adult should supervise makeup application and any touch-ups.
Pickup & Heading Home
- Meet your dancer in the lobby. They must complete their performance responsibilities and receive permission from the Dressing Room Supervisor before leaving.
- Dancers in Dressing Rooms 1 and 2 must stay until their room is cleaned and the supervisor releases them.
- Dancers in the conference room should clean their area and collect all belongings before leaving.
- Arrange drop-off and pickup before the show, during intermission, or after the performance—not while an act is running.
Please allow time for cleanup and staff release when making plans after the show.
Is Saturday Evening Your Dancer’s Final Show?
Return their Weehawken costumes on-site before leaving. Costume check-in opens after intermission for dancers who have completed all their roles.
Dancers who have finished their roles may change into street clothes to return costumes and may take bows in street clothes if needed.
If your dancer performs on Sunday, keep the costumes they still need. Follow staff instructions about accessories and props that remain backstage.
See the Family Guide for complete costume-return instructions.
Cleanup Help for Leads & Upper-Level Dancers
Leads and upper-level dancers who are not performing on Sunday must help after Saturday evening’s show. Report to Natasha for assignments and plan for approximately one extra hour.
Help may include costume check-in and sorting, picking up trash, and cleaning Dressing Rooms 1 and 2. Other performers in multiple casts are also asked to help if Saturday is their final show day.
Tech Notes — Coming in November
We’re still bringing the show together! Detailed production and backstage notes will be added here in November.
For now, use the parent PDFs above to check assignments and arrival times.
