Weehawken Dance Presents "The Nutcracker Sweets, Remixed!" Dec. 2024

Schedule for Fall 2026!

Registration opens July 13 | Final deadline: September 5 (if space is available)

The Weehawken Dance program runs year-round, offering 29 weeks of classes divided into two semesters. Each semester concludes with a performance at the Montrose Pavilion, giving every dancer the chance to shine on stage. Pre and Primary level classes are offered on a semester-by-semester basis and provide young dancers with a strong foundation in movement. In addition to developing coordination and motor skills, students learn how to follow directions, work with others, and thrive in a group setting. Dancers in these levels perform twice a year—once in the winter and once in the spring.

Age Guide for Pre/Primary Level Dance Classes:
PRE: Ages 3-5 (preschool-aged children)
PRIMARY: Ages 5-8 (kindergarten - 2nd grade)

Note: Many of our classes are intentionally structured as mixed-level (e.g., Pre/Primary Ballet) to better support students at different stages of development, offer appropriate challenges, and allow for more flexible placement based on experience and instructor recommendation.

2026 Fall Semester Dance Fees

Per Class | 14-Week Session | 45-Minute Class

  • Tuition: $210

  • Show Fee: $50

  • Annual Registration Fee: $25 (paid once per year)

Total for the Fall Semester: $285
That includes 14 weeks of classes, costume rental, and a performance in our Nutcracker Remixed! production.

Fall Semester 2026 – Dates to Note

Students enrolled in Pre, Primary, and Pre/Primary classes will perform in one show during show week. Their Dress Rehearsal will be held earlier on the same day as their performance.

Show Week: Wednesday, December 9 – Sunday, December 13

Watch for an email from us—typically sent in October—with important information about casting, key dates, rehearsal schedules, and performance details. We do our best to send this information as early as possible so families have plenty of time to plan.
