FALL 2026: DANCE LEVELS 1 - 3 AT WEEHAWKEN!

Schedule for Fall 2026!
Registration opens July 13 | Final deadline: September 5 (if space is available)
The Weehawken Dance program runs year-round, offering 29 weeks of classes divided into two semesters. Each semester concludes with a performance at the Montrose Pavilion, giving every dancer the chance to shine on stage. Level 1–3 classes are offered on a semester-by-semester basis and help dancers build strength, technique, and confidence as they advance through our program. Dancers in this level will work on focus, technique, and dance vocabulary, facilitating skill development and discipline. In addition to refining foundational skills, students continue developing musicality, classroom focus, and stage presence. Dancers in Level 1, 2, 1/2, or 2/3 perform once per semester, while dancers in Level 3 perform twice—appearing in two shows during the production week.
- LEVEL 1: Ages 8-10 (2nd grade - 4th grade)
- LEVEL 2: Ages 9-11 (4th grade - 5th grade)
- LEVEL 3: Ages 10+ (5th grade and up)

Note: Many of our classes are intentionally structured as mixed-level (e.g., Ballet 1/2 or Ballet 2/3) to better support students at different stages of development, offer appropriate challenges, and allow for more flexible placement based on experience and instructor recommendation.

What to Expect During Show Week:
Please Note: The information below is based on our standard performance model for Level 1/2 and Level 2/3 classes and uses last season's Cinderella production as a reference.
While this provides a good general idea of what to expect, cast assignments, performance dates, dress rehearsal schedules, and call times may vary from year to year. We make adjustments as needed to create the best experience for our students and productions.
Please plan to be available for both a dress rehearsal and performance during Show Week (December 7–13).
Watch for an email from us—typically sent in October—with important information about casting, rehearsal schedules, performance dates, call times, and other key details.
