It’s our final performance! Here’s what your family needs to know for Sunday’s rehearsal, show, and costume return.
Who Attends Sunday?
Show 6 performs Sunday, December 13, at 1:00 p.m.
Sunday morning’s dress rehearsal is for the performers listed in the Sunday rehearsal PDF. Check the names and classes carefully to see whether your dancer is called and which arrival group applies.
Some dances will be run with music only to check the music and show order. Dancers in those dances do not need to attend for spacing, unless they are also listed for another dance or role in the rehearsal PDF.
If your dancer appears in more than one arrival group, use their earliest call time.

Sunday at a Glance
- Location: Montrose Pavilion.
- Entrance: Use the front doors.
- Check-in: Check in as you enter the hall.
- Dress rehearsal starts: 9:35 a.m., with Act 2 first.
- Performance starts: 1:00 p.m.
- Pickup: Meet your dancer in the lobby after staff have released them.
- Bring a change of clothes: Costumes must be returned on-site after your dancer’s final performance.
Sunday Morning Dress Rehearsal
Find your dancer’s group in the rehearsal PDF above. These are arrival times, not the time your dancer’s dance begins.
Group 1
Arrive by 9:30 a.m.
Rehearsal starts at 9:35 a.m.
Group 2
Arrive by 10:30 a.m.
Group 3
Arrive by 11:45 a.m.
When You Arrive
After checking in, bring your dancer to the conference room to the right of the entrance. Find their class sign and connect with the dressing-room crew, who will help organize belongings and direct dancers to their group.
Dancers should arrive in costume with a robe covering it and show hair complete. Makeup is not required for rehearsal, but it must be complete before the performance.
For Pre, Primary, and Intro to Aerial students, one parent or guardian may stay in the rear of the theater during rehearsal. Please keep the rehearsal area quiet so dancers can hear instructions.
Between Rehearsal and the Show
Dancers may take a break after their assigned rehearsal work is complete and staff have released them. Before leaving, confirm when your dancer needs to return.
Because Sunday’s rehearsal runs Act 2 first, please follow your dancer’s actual rehearsal assignment rather than assuming break times based on their act.
We expect rehearsal to finish around 12:25 p.m. The theater will then be cleared so we can prepare for the audience. Seating opens no earlier than 12:30 p.m.
Rehearsal finish times are estimates. We may pause to adjust spacing, lighting, and transitions.
1:00 p.m. Performance — Both Acts
All Show 6 performers in Act 1 and Act 2 must be backstage and ready by 1:00 p.m. Allow time to check in, organize belongings, and find your group before then.
Act 2 performers must also be backstage at the start of intermission, ready for their act. Please don’t wait until intermission is ending.

Costumes, Hair, Makeup & Tickets
Our main Performance Information page has the shared instructions for all families, including costume care, hair and makeup, tickets, and preparing for Show Week.
- No jewelry. Stud earrings are okay.
- Remove nail polish before arriving, and leave nail polish at home.
- Keep makeup out of young children’s reach. An adult should supervise makeup application and any touch-ups.
Pickup & Bows
- Pre dancers bow at the end of their dance and do not participate in the final bows.
- Primary and older dancers participate in final bows.
- Dancers may leave only after their required dances and bows are complete, their area is cleaned, and the dressing-room supervisor has released them.
- Meet your dancer in the lobby.
- Plan drop-off and pickup before the show, during intermission, or after the performance.
Final Show: Return Costumes Before Leaving
Bring a change of clothes. All Weehawken costume pieces and accessories must be checked in on-site after your dancer’s final performance.
Costume check-in opens after intermission for dancers who have completed all of their roles. Dancers returning costumes before final bows may participate in bows in their own clothes.
Return costumes on their original hangers and in the provided costume bags. Check your dancer’s area for accessories and personal belongings before leaving.

Help Us Wrap Up Show Week
Cleanup begins immediately after the final performance. Families and performers who can help with taking down sets, sorting costumes, collecting trash, and loading trucks are greatly appreciated. Even 45 minutes makes a difference!
Leads and upper-level students are required to help with cleanup. Please report directly to Natasha for your assignment.
