- Safety First
- Follow the dress code
- Teacher knows best: Always follow the teacher’s directions
- Always learn tricks low first; go high only after the teacher approves it
- Never perform a trick without being over a mat
- Follow your trick “checklist”
- Rough housing, climbing too high without approval, practicing tricks you aren’t ready for, and student disrespect will not be tolerated.
- Students may not touch any equipment not being used during class.
Summer aerial classes Montrose CO provide a vibrant way for students to build strength, explore paths, and develop artistry in a short-term session format.

Why Summer Aerial Classes Montrose CO Are So Popular
This summer, our aerial classes Montrose CO offer an exciting blend of movement, creativity, and community for youth and adults alike. Whether a student is brand new to aerial silks, lyra or sling or returning to explore aerial motion in a fresh way, our summer sessions provide a welcoming pathway to growth. Students will experience thoughtful progressions, creative choice-making, partner shapes (for adults), foundational climbs and flows (for youth), and options for movement exploration across all levels. With monthly scheduling and studios in Montrose, Ridgway and Ouray, summer aerial becomes an accessible and energising option for families and adult movers in the region. Many participants use summer as a launchpad — they begin aerial and continue through regular semesters. Instructors guide movement in a way that promotes gradual development, artistry, and full-body integration rather than rushed performance. Community is at the heart of our aerial training: students cheer each other on, share movement discoveries, and build friendships that carry beyond the studio. That sense of connection makes our summer program more than just a class — it becomes a movement experience. When you join aerial classes Montrose CO this summer at Weehawken Dance, you’ll step into an environment that values your growth as a mover, an artist, and a part of a creative community.

Tajiana Rueschhoff’s dance journey began at the age of 5 when she first stepped into a small ballet school in Mississippi, sparking a passion that would endure a lifetime. Growing up in Ouray, Colorado, she continued to nurture her love for dance with Weehawken, honing her skills over the years. Travel played a pivotal role in her development, allowing her to train under diverse instructors and immerse herself in various dance styles. Summers were often spent in intensive training at the Kansas City Ballet, further shaping her dedication to dance. Tajiana pursued her passion with pre-professional training at the Northwest Florida Ballet. Now, back in Ouray, she is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Geology at the University of Florida while eagerly embracing the opportunity to share her profound love for dance through teaching.
