Class Description
Let loose and get moving in this upbeat and empowering class!
Designed for adults of all levels, this class is perfect whether you are stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or returning after years away. You will build strength, coordination, musicality, and confidence while learning fun, high-energy choreography in a welcoming and supportive environment.
No performance commitment is required. Come for the movement, music, community, and fun of dancing!
What to Expect
Warm-Up & Groove: Class begins with dynamic movement, isolations, rhythm exercises, and foundational grooves to prepare your body and help you connect with the music.
Hip Hop Foundations: You will explore footwork, weight shifts, musicality, coordination, and movement drawn from hip hop and street-dance foundations. Movements are broken down clearly so beginners can participate comfortably.
Combinations & Choreography: Class finishes with a fun combination that brings the movements together and gives you space to develop confidence, expression, and personal style.
What to Wear
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely, such as joggers, leggings, athletic pants, a T-shirt, or a tank top.
Students should wear clean, flat-bottomed sneakers reserved for class. Please change into your dance shoes after arriving so they remain clean and safe for the studio floor.
Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to move!
No performance commitment is required. Adult Hip Hop is a recreational class, so you can participate simply for the movement, music, community, and fun of dancing.
