Winter / Spring 2027 Pre & Primary Dance
Ages 3–8
Pre and Primary classes give young dancers a joyful, developmentally appropriate introduction to movement and dance.
Students develop coordination, musicality, motor skills, classroom independence, confidence, and positive group participation.

Montrose classes meet at our Weehawken Montrose Studio. Ridgway classes meet at Cora Street Annex or the Old School House.
Ouray County classes are shown using the current schedule; any changes will be shared with families.

Pre
Ages 3–5
Designed for preschool-aged children developing movement fundamentals, coordination, musicality, classroom independence, and comfort participating in a group.
Primary
Ages 5–8
Designed primarily for kindergarten through second-grade dancers who are ready for foundational dance skills and increased expectations for focus and participation.

Choosing a Class
Mixed-level classes: Some classes combine Pre and Primary dancers to support different developmental stages, provide appropriate challenges, and offer families additional scheduling options.
Not sure which style to choose? Ballet provides a strong dance foundation. Hip hop, jazz, tap, and poms offer additional ways to explore rhythm, coordination, musicality, and creative movement. New students may choose any age-appropriate class that interests them.
Winter / Spring Tuition and Fees
One 45-Minute Class
15-Week Winter / Spring Session
Tuition: $225
Show fee: $50
Annual registration fee: $25 per student
Registration and show fees are based on fall and are subject to confirmation.
Total: $300 if annual registration fee applies
What Is Included?
The total includes 15 weeks of classes, costume rental, and a performance in our spring production of Peter Pan.
Payment plans are available at no additional charge.

Want to Try a Class First?
New students and current dancers considering a new style may try an available youth dance class free during the first week of class.
Email Lexi in advance to confirm space and arrange the trial class. Free trials exclude aerial classes.
Spring Performance: Peter Pan
Our winter/spring semester concludes with Peter Pan at the Montrose Pavilion in May 2027. Performance information is tentative; exact details will be shared by the end of February.
