Aerial, Circus & Dance Fall 2024

CLASSES.
14 weeks of Dance & Aerial Classes, ending with Nutcracker performances at the Montrose Pavilion
- Monday, 8/26 First Day of Classes
- Monday, 9/2 NO CLASSES, Labor Day!
- Sunday, 9/8, Auditions for lead roles in “The Nutcracker” performances. Check the audition form for details.
- Monday, 11/11 – Friday, 11/15 Parent’s visitation week for Pre through Level 2 Classes, and any families NEW to Weehawken Dance (to collect
costumes, ask questions about the show, video dances, last 20 minutes of each class) - Monday, 11/25 – Friday, 11/29 NO CLASSES- Thanksgiving Break
- Friday, 12/6 Last Day of the Regular Schedule
- Monday, 12/9 – Sunday, 12/15 “The Nutcracker” Show Week, NO CLASSES, Dress Rehearsal and Performance Week FOR ALL WEEHAWKEN DANCE
FAMILIES (including dance, aerial & circus). All dress rehearsals and performances will be held at the Montrose Pavilion. - There will be 6 performances (Nutcracker Sweets, “Claire En L’air, An Aerial Nutcracker Circus”, and “The Nutcracker” Shows 1-4) with a split cast.
When registering for dance classes notice what performance/cast your classes are scheduled for. - Cast B Dress Rehearsal: Monday, evening, 12/9
- Cast C Dress Rehearsal: Tuesday evening, 12/10
- Cast A (for aerial): Wednesday, dress rehearsal & Claire En L’air, An Aerial Nutcracker Circus performamnce 12/11
- Show 1: Cast B, “The Nutcracker” Thursday evening, 12/12
- Show 2: Cast B, “The Nutcracker” Friday evening, 12/13
- Cast SWEETS, “Nutcracker Sweets” featuring Weehawken’s sweetest dancers (ages 2.5-8), dress rehearsal & performamnce 12/14, during the day.
Dress Rehearsal for this cast will be directly before the performance on the same date. - Show 3: Cast C, “The Nutcracker” Saturday evening, 12/14
- Show 4: Cast C, “The Nutcracker” Sunday matinee, 12/15

- Monday, 3/31 – Friday, 4/4 NO CLASSES IN OURAY COUNTY, Spring Break for Ouray County classes (there will still be Montrose County
Classes) - Monday, 4/14 – Friday, 4/18 NO CLASSES IN MONTROSE COUNTY, Spring Break for Montrose County classes (there will still be Ouray County

Tajiana Rueschhoff’s dance journey began at the age of 5 when she first stepped into a small ballet school in Mississippi, sparking a passion that would endure a lifetime. Growing up in Ouray, Colorado, she continued to nurture her love for dance with Weehawken, honing her skills over the years. Travel played a pivotal role in her development, allowing her to train under diverse instructors and immerse herself in various dance styles. Summers were often spent in intensive training at the Kansas City Ballet, further shaping her dedication to dance. Tajiana pursued her passion with pre-professional training at the Northwest Florida Ballet. Now, back in Ouray, she is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Geology at the University of Florida while eagerly embracing the opportunity to share her profound love for dance through teaching.
