Aerial, Circus & Dance Winter/Spring 2025
*Please note, there WILL be dance on Monday and Friday school holidays. The only dates we do NOT have dance are the dates listed below that say NO CLASSES.
14 weeks of Dance & Aerial Classes, ending with Wizard of Oz performances & a Spring Circus Showcase at the Montrose Pavilion
- Sunday, 1/12 Auditions for Lead Roles in the Wizard of Oz for dancers level 3+ in year-round classes.

- Monday, 1/13 First Day of Classes
- Sunday, 1/26 Auditions for Lead Roles in the Wizard of Oz for dancers level 1+ and aerialists level 3+ in winter/spring semester classes.

- Monday, 2/17-Friday, 2/21 NO CLASSES, Winter Break!
- Monday, 3/31 – Friday, 4/4 NO CLASSES IN OURAY COUNTY, Spring Break for Ouray County classes (there will still be Montrose County Classes)
- Monday, 4/14 – Friday, 4/18 NO CLASSES IN MONTROSE COUNTY, Spring Break for Montrose County classes (there will still be Ouray County Classes)
- Monday, 4/21- Friday, 4/25 Parent’s visitation week for Pre through Level 2 Classes, and any families NEW to Weehawken Dance (to collect costumes, ask questions about the show, video dances, last 20 minutes of each class)
- Friday, 5/2 Last Day of the Regular Schedule
- Monday, 5/5 – Sunday, 5/11 “Wizard of Oz” Show Week, NO CLASSES, Dress Rehearsal and Performance Week FOR ALL WEEHAWKEN DANCE FAMILIES (including dance, aerial & circus). All dress rehearsals and performances will be held at the Montrose Pavilion.
- There will be 6 performances with a split cast. When registering for dance classes notice what performance/cast your classes are scheduled for.

Tajiana Rueschhoff’s dance journey began at the age of 5 when she first stepped into a small ballet school in Mississippi, sparking a passion that would endure a lifetime. Growing up in Ouray, Colorado, she continued to nurture her love for dance with Weehawken, honing her skills over the years. Travel played a pivotal role in her development, allowing her to train under diverse instructors and immerse herself in various dance styles. Summers were often spent in intensive training at the Kansas City Ballet, further shaping her dedication to dance. Tajiana pursued her passion with pre-professional training at the Northwest Florida Ballet. Now, back in Ouray, she is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Geology at the University of Florida while eagerly embracing the opportunity to share her profound love for dance through teaching.
