SPRING 2026: DANCE LEVELS 1 - 3 AT WEEHAWKEN!

dancers on stage in costumes

Schedule for Spring 2026!

Online Registration is now closed. Summer Schedule will be released April 1st.

The Weehawken Dance program runs year-round, offering 28 weeks of classes divided into two semesters. Each semester concludes with a performance at the Montrose Pavilion, giving every dancer the chance to shine on stage. Level 1–3 classes are offered on a semester-by-semester basis and help dancers build strength, technique, and confidence as they advance through our program. Dancers in this level will work on focus, technique, and dance vocabulary, facilitating skill development and discipline. In addition to refining foundational skills, students continue developing musicality, classroom focus, and stage presence. Dancers in Level 1 or 1/2 perform once per semester, while dancers in Level 2/3 or Level 3 perform twice—appearing in two shows during the production week.

Age Guide for Classes:

  • LEVEL 1: Ages 8-9.5 (2nd grade - 4th grade)
  • LEVEL 2: Ages 9-10.5 (4th grade - 5th grade)
  • LEVEL 3: Ages 10+ (5th grade and up)

Note: Many of our classes are intentionally structured as mixed-level (e.g., Ballet 1/2 or Ballet 2/3) to better support students at different stages of development, offer appropriate challenges, and allow for more flexible placement based on experience and instructor recommendation.
